M6 Trans Temp using Oil Temp???
Rather than buy a seperate guage I was thinking about using a engine oil temp sensor and a switch to toggle between engine oil temp and transmission temp. This would display the reading on the DIC as oil temp, is this totaly absurd or a possibility???

I think that is an excellent idea.
I don't see any reason it wouldn't work and it should be easy to do!

That is a clever idea. You'd have to have a temp sender for the trans fluid that was calibrated the same as the oil temp sender. Perhaps an adaptor could be made to put the factory oil temp sender into the trans fill plug hole.
