Default modding my OLD OLD c5 vette

hey guys.... i have a 97 c5 m6 coupe with 145,000 miles on it... ive owned and modded 4 ls1s first was a 00 camaro-- then 99 silverado--- then 99 ws6 so now i am onto the vette i have just purchased a ls6 intake, shifter, ported oil pump, ngk spark plugs, and i am despartely wanting that lope back in my life ... i want to run the jugarnaut cam ( g5x4) and pro long tubes.... i have MANY MANY electrical gremlins that i am working out now, but am anxious for my cam/ header install...what yall think about modding such a worn ls1??? thanx!

107,000 miles here just added dart head's now I have 404rwhp

cool, so what cam do you have??? my plan is to build the top then just let the motor blow whenever it wants to, THEN drop the 409 in what you think?

do a leak down test to see motor condition it preety cheap

Do a leak down and compressoin test to see how the motor is doing.

cool deal, guys... regardless of what condition the motor is in, im still going to do it, and just run the hoe till she blows i cant wait for heads and cam package... anyone know how the new darts will do with the g5x4 ? thanx
