Default Anyone done this?

Posted this question in 'c5 general' might be the wrong place...

My '99 has chips and a few scratches on the nose. I want to remove the front,(section containing the parking lights etc.) to repaint it. Can anyone tell me what the difficulty level is and disassembly tips you might have?

Removing the front bumber cover is pretty easy and straight forward. It should take you about 30 minutes max to remove it.

No special tricks or hidden bolts on this job.

Step #1 -- What License plate? There's a place for a plate?

I hear you. In New York you need one as well so I am pushing my luck. I keep the plate close by, behind me, so I can place it on the dash, as a minimum, if I ever get stopped.
