Code repair troubleshooter manual?
Can anyone recommend a good code repair troubleshooter manual or website to go to? The code that popped up recently was the P1416, 2ndary air injection system. Any advice or info much appreciated

The GM 3 volume set of service manuals has complete explanations of most every DTC. However, both the explanation and troubleshooting tecniques are very technical...written for a certified GM technician. I never have enough knowledge or test equipment to troubleshoot.

I had the same code, bank 2 air tube check valve. The tube runs behind the intake and is difficult to change but cleaning the valve is easy. Just take off the hose assy to the valve and start the car. Then spray a good carb cleaner into the valve, it will suck the cleaner in and you can hear the valve close tightly. I've been successful on cars with 30+k miles! Good luck!

And I notice your have an air pump code also, go read my Code 410 I have answered to on this forum. Also look on this site I haven't been to it in awhile they might have something on it about the stuff.
