About how much performance will I gain with LS6 heads on an LS1 engine?

All things remaining the same, I would guess 10-15 HP.

ls6 cam, heads and intake will get you about 50hp

i found it interesting MTI claims they can port and polish LS6 heads to flow (at stage III) around 330+cfm intake. this seems really well but i wonder how much hp you are planning on making if there are aftermarket companies that make heads that flow more than that.

330? I don't buy it. LS6 heads can make good power, but usually by the time you get the Stage III porting and upgraded valve train you could have just bought AFR's. JMHO
