Default Which Clutch????

I got my A&A kit installed and now the clutch is starting to slip pretty badly.

I have searched and read about several clutches but just can't make a definite decision on which one.

Right now I like the Textralia, Spec, Cartek.

Any others I should consider and which one should I choose.

Thanks

Andy recommended the RPS clutch to me and I have 2k on my car and it is holding up to my HP 731 and 645 TQ levels. I bought the clutch and flywheel and upgraded to the Z06 master and slave at the same time. This clutch is stiff at first and then not much stiffer than a Z06 clutch

Cartek Clutch is a pretty durable unit. I've had mine now for well over 75 drag passes. I'm amazed about how much abuse its taken, Its still hanging in there.

Ive heard good things about the cartek, no personal experience.

I had a spec hybrid. Hated it.

Current: rps. Love the hell out of it.

I was in the same boat as you. I spoke with a lot of different people and narrowed it down to RPS and Cartek. I bought the Cartek. Can't comment on it because I am in the middle of the install right now. Also going with a Fidanza billet steel flywheel.

I have the RPS setup, still breaking it in.
similar feel to stock, a little stiffer and a very noticable lockup.
the alum. flywheel makes downshifts/rpm matching a little easyier
nice setup for the money

I've got the Exidy Hyper stage 3. It was stiffer at first, but has started to break in and isn't as bad. I'm not making the power you're throwing down, but just with a heads and cam I overcame the new Z06 clutch we had installed with the new motor within 2K miles. They claim 650#ft. torque on it, but I don't know how much that is advertising.

I've heard real good things about the new LS7 clutch... Stock feel, great engagement, and super strong!
