Hey guys, really torn on what exhaust to put on, don't want headers, just crossovers and back, I want that good sound without the reson, so many to chose from, I have heard the PRT, then I saw a guy selling his magnaflows for not being enough and he said he had the PRTs and the reson drove him nuts, HELP
This was my choice hands down! Indy with classic tips. you wont be disappointed
I had a B&B route 66, no resonance, great for touring, but wanted a louder and muscle car tone, so I went with the B&B bullets, everything I wanted EXCEPT the interior drone was killing me!!! So I then ordered the Corsa Indy and never looked back. Loud when it need to be, and quiet when you want it to be.
I first put Borla Stinger quads with a Bassani X- pipe and I hated the drone for the first year I have had them. When I switched from stock 3:15 gears to 3:42 gears, the drone went away and the exhaust note suddenly became more pronounced!
Welcome to my generic exhaust thread reply; be advised, sound very subjective...nothing like a live audition to be sure...sounds clips can be misleading...your mileage may vary...IMHO and all.
GHL Bullet's w/ Quad 4" Tips, no LT's...yet; Resonance? around 1500 they get 'louder' when under light load; On freeway (2:73 A4) in cruise control at 75mph can't really hear the exhaust though. Have taken 10 hour trips in car and not bothersome at all. Quality of build is excellent, company great to work with.
Had Borlas, B&B PTR, now Corsa and they have been the best for interior resonance. The WOT and cruising sound from the exterior is awsome, I'm most happy overall with this system.
I've had Corsa Indy's for over FIVE years now and am very satisfied with them. They look and sound great! When I am at full throttle it sounds awsome! Plus I like the sound when downshifting. Dont forget to get the Chrome Exhaust plate, it looks great with the Pro Series tips!

The Magna Flows will please you the most in the long run.
I've got a set coming - going on my '01 A4 w/ Dynatech LT's - tell me what they sound like and what I can expect - I've heard exactly what you are saying - that Magna Flowes are the best - but tell my why?
I'm looking for medium volume, DEEP tone at idle, and something liveable on the inside when driving 80 but NOTICEABLE from the outside at the same speed.
