What to do?
When you visit your 90 year old Aunt, Who hasn't drove her cars (4)
in 4 yrs and she has a 1963 with 50k which has not moved since !976
with 100 percent car original down to tires.In the double wide by double deep garage. 1/8 inch dust covered it.and a few old blankets. I remember it running in 1967. Different people have tried to start it. But no hope,Auntie said "i WANT YOU TO DRIVE ALL THE CARS.
It took about 700.00 In parts so far. And 5 days to get them All going
She had a teenage twinkle in her eye when She opened the garage door when she heard the 63 v-8 fire-up. It took a new
Fuel pump. filter, and gas line, and carb plus fix a small hole in gas tank,and flush the rest out. Then the complete battery cables set (3)
battery and complete tune up .
I mean a full tune with New
coil, wires, plugs (gapped at .035)
, cap, condenser,rotor and points, As soon as the float bowl filled it started.
and Now starts with a tap on the key.
then the complete brake job, master cly pump all lines clean and bleed, car has a dime size dent and no body panel rust and paint is very nice when polished up, short ride tomorrow for My Aunt till we get new rubber , It's going to be
a blast. Rest (3) cars, needed one starter and 3 batterys and fresh fuel.
