Default Replacing Oil Pressure Sensor Questions

Well my oil pressure gage pegged at 80 psi and DIC read 129 psi, so I guess I had better replace the sensor.

-Shop manual calls for putting GM part number 12345382 threadlock on intake manifold bolts, is this Blue Loctite ?

-Should I replace or reuse the manifold gasket ?

Depending on miles, you can most likely reuse the intake gaskets. BTW, they are individual o-ring gaskets, not two big gaskets like in the older engines. When my OP sensor went out at 50K miles I re-used the gaskets. First replacement sensor failed in less than a day, so I ended up pulling the intake twice, used same gaskets both times....no issues.

I have heard about these new sensors failing, did you use a GM sensor?

Maybe I should try a NAPA or Auto Zone part?

Did you use locktite on intake bolts ?

How long did it take you to replace ?

You want to use anti sieze on the intake bolts, and torque to spec.
