It looks like you are wrinkling the tubing on the inside of the bends. I would make sure you have the right bending dies. My bender did that at first, turns out I had the die upside down. It "looked" semetrical, guess it wasen't. Other than that, it looks good. Hears some pix if my work in progress. 4130 Chromolly 1 5/8 0.83 wall. Its designed to be a "street" cage, cross between a road race cage and a drag cage. See the smoothness on the inside of the bends. Good luck
turboc5,
Yes did get a little wrinkling. What bender are you using? I'm using an innexpensive Harbor Freight Bender. It works flawlessly on the SS units I have done, but the DOM tubing doesn't fit the die perfectly. If I use the next die, I get some flattening.
http://www.pro-tools.com/ Model 105. Woors good, but its manual. I wish I had bought a hydrolic one, It would be much faster. BTW if you look on your rear tub their will be two 8mm screws right on the sides of the center storage compartment. They used those screws on the assembly line to hold the rear tub in place while the glue dried. Use those as centering marks for ware to run the rear bars. The frame backs up right against it
