Default LS vs LT weight

i know the block being aluminum on the LS has to drop SOME weight. im guessing around 60 lbs? i got to thinking that hte intake manifold on a LT1/4 is cast iron(metal) isnt teh intake manifold on any LS motor plastic? i would think that would drop a drastic amount of weight as well. what is the average weight savings from a complete, say LT4 to a complete LS1?

thats a lot of weight.
im toying around with the idea of eventually going with an LS in my C4.
Although that isnt the reason im considering it, 100lbs would help the front to back weight ratio alot.

Why not go with a C5? You can get them for under $20K now. Much improved ride, handling, floor space,(due to rear trans) and alot lighter too. Although I do love the way the latter C4's looked.
