Default New Item - LS7 Engine Wiring Kit with Computer

Just received the March 06 issue of GM High-Tech Performance, and in their coverage of the SEMA show they have a small article on a LS7 wiring kit with computer to put an LS7 engine in virtually any car. Just need to hook up four wires up to the car.

One of my buddies is doing an LS7 conversion into his C5 and this sounds like the panacea he's been looking for. Has anyone used this kit from Street and Performance?

Dang that is bad news! That is going to run the demand and price of the LS7 up before I can get one!

Any idea what computer they are using or how it is tuned?

Actually I would suspect exactly the opposite. The more LS7's that are made the better pricing will eventually be.

Any links? How has he overcome the dry sump problem? I might go this route instead of SC.

Not to be a nay sayer, but why would you want to buy someones locked down OEM based computer to run this engine? You are locked to one vendor for tuning.
OEM based PCM/wiring kits are not the best way to go.

Here's a link to the company's website - I didn't find anything about the LS7 wiring harness specifically. The article in GM High-Tech performance showed a picture of a factory looking harness & computer. The article didn't say anything about locking the computer tune...

I should know more later, my buddy is following up with the company.
