Odometer on start up
The last few days, my odometer reading would come on and stay on until I canceled it every time I started my 98. Today, my battery gave up the ghost. I put the code save battery thingy in the lighter and replaced the battery with an Optima. The first start after the new battery, the odometer went on again. Then once I shut it off, the odometer reading doesn't come on at start up anymore. I was wondering if the odometer reading coming on at start up means your battery is going bad. Anyone ever heard of this, or is it just coincidence.
