Help! ti tail pipe height adjustment?
hi all,
just had my ti's installed in my 99 auto coupe today at a corvette shop. but as i looked at them more and more, i feel like the tail pipes are hanging too low. I'd like to get them as high as possible without touching the body. anybody know of any way to adjust the height of these? thanks for any input.
p.s. dang things sound nice and solid at wot! otherwise, quiet and civilized just like the stockers

You can shim the tabs that are secured by the hangers at the rear of the mufflers. Or bend the tabs themselves. Also try loosening the bolts at the flanges and rotate the mufflers then tighten the bolts - takes two people or a jack.
