99 C5 Trouble Starting
I have got a 99 that I just got put back together after buying wrecked. I have got a problem with the car not starting or making contact almost every time I drive it. After I park and come back to start the car I put the key in , the steering wheel comes about a third of the way out and then I dont have anything. I have checked my cables and a couple of grounds but still continues. After trying the switch several times usually about 5 min. or so the car will start and run fine.
Yesterday when I was getting my final inspection to obtain a clear title it did it to me right when the inspector was sitting in my car. I felt about an inch tall. Thankfully he was very friendly and acted as though he understood. But never the less!!!!
My hopes are that possibly one of you has had a similar problem and can help me out.

There are a number of things that could cause this issue. The very first thing that you need to do is read the DTC codes.

Please record the codes and post the results. Clear ALL of them and make the car fail. Check and repost the codes that return. Make sure you include if the codes are Current or History.
