Roll bar 1
Roll Bar 2
Roll Bar 3

Bar is 1.75 x .120 DOM Tubing, All work done by Myself.
I still have to put on the padding and I plan to make a cover for the padding. Questions, comments welcome.

Looks good. but it looks like it kinked in the corner a bit. Next time try filling the tube with sand and caping it before you bend it. When its done you can cut the caps off and get the sand out.

Thanks for the tip. Hopefully won't be building another too soon.

You know you always learn something better or easier with each time. I would change a couple of things, but one thing thaat worked out perfectly was the arc in the main hoop. Rear-view is terrific.

Would this rollbar prevent a big guy (6'4" 275 lb) from fitting into the
drivers seat and being comfortable enough as a daily driver ?

How much weight did it add to the car ?

Thanks >>>>> INTHERED

I was glad when my buddy did this since the added weight in his car allowed me to beat him.

The tube wieght is 2.0 lbs per foot so my guess is about 55-60lbs all together.

Drag Racing only. The car is street driven but hoping for sub 11's next year and figured it was time.

Oned note: Door bar is removable so entry during normal driving is like stock.
