After reading a post in the performance section, I thought I'd through this idea out there to see if anyone has done it;
I'm changing to the Dart heads, and am going to change out a bad pulley, along with the chain and pump. Since I will be very close anyway, I haved toyed with the idea of changing grom my 224/224-268/268 cam to the mamo 224/228 cam. In reality, would this change really make enough difference to make it worth while?
I'm not interested in going any larger cams, just heard some good #s on this cam in the past.
Thanks
Thats what I did...swapped out my 220/220 to the 224/228 cam. I didnt peak much higher but my torque curve is so much better. and its still behaves almost like a stock cam at idle which is what I wanted the most.
