Need advise on Ft Leaf Spring
I was helping a friend replace the shocks and lower his 98 coupe over the weekend. We found the front lowering bolts frozen and tried soaking with PB blaster but no luck, and of course broke one of the bolts. Has any one removed the front spring. Service book says a spring compressor is needed to reinstall. We are doing this on the floor and I was hoping a jack will be able to compress the spring but hate to take it apart and find out the worst on reinstall. Thanks for any help, Dave
