Greetings All,

I`m looking for feedback from those with 1st hand experience using the Torco fuel additive.
Specifically, were you able to run more timing advance and or other agressive tune-up settings?
Also, what ratio/amt have you found to be the most effective per gallon of gas for agressive tunes?

For the record, the car has a Vararam, headers/Random Tech cats, LS6 intake and fairly agressive tune on 91 octane So Cal gas.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Rick

P.S. Has the use of Torco resulted in any emissions/smog test issues or any known damage to engine componets?

I have been using it for quite awhile now. It gave me a better ET at the track. I have no pinging any more. I believe you can feel the difference SOTP

Ask Andy or Charlie at A&A for the timing advance but I believe you get some.

I recently started getting a O2 sensor code....but it could be a wire and this is a known problem with LT Headers.

Joel has mixing ratios. I put in about 1/4 of a can with fill up. I use more when racing

Been using it for years... With 91 octane available at the pump, it is the most cost effective product you can buy. The next step up is buying 100 octane @ $4.75 per gallon.

32.oz can per 10 gallons and if I know I am going to run the car hard, I will add 64 oz's to 17 gallons.

If you car is not pinging, you dont need this product.

No problems with O2 sensors or any other part of the car using this product.

I've been running it for two years. 600 rwhp on a stock bottom end and still going strong. No complaints.

Thanks to all for your quick and honest replies!
I just installed a pretty agressive tune (26.6 timing @wot) and even though it doesn`t ping in cool San Diego coastal weather, I suspect that may not be the case in hot canyon conditions!

My local speed shop quoted me $16.00 for a 32oz can, does this sound like a decent price?

Thank you again for your feedback.

I paid $13 and change per can when I mail ordered it. $16 local is reasonable.
