Column Lock Update
I read where owners were to be notified starting tomorrow on latest recall, which will remove locking plate from all U.S. MN6's also. Does anyone know what the process is for stealerships being up to speed? I stopped at dealer where I bought my car today, and he input my VIN # for 2000 FRC and nothing new popped up. Maybe it'll take a few weeks???

I have an appointment scheduled for this coming Thursday to get the new harness install for the column lock. My son who works at a dealership, stated the fix from the first recall, didn't fix the problem and now GM is going the next step to fix our vette's. He also said that GM is in the process of sending out the notification.

I am planning on giving RICHIERICHZ06 a call at his dealership to schedule an appointment, as soon as my wife gives me her work schedule for next week. Want to do it on a day she will be gone. Driving the extra distance to his dealership on his reccomendation that the tech that did his was very competent, and careful. Will post results.
