Default 1.8 rockers: step inside

i'm thinking about this as the last mod to the engine (with the possible exception of a magnacharger way, way down the road). the engine is a warranty replacement '04 LS1 and the car currently has a halltech induction from the throttle body forward. it also has long tube headers and full cat back exhaust.
i have been told all '01 and up LS1s came with the LS6 intake so i guess i'd be o.k. there.
will the 1.8 rockers give me spring problems on stock heads? any machining issues with these rockers? what about fuel issues? need larger injectors or maybe just a little higher pressure? is the stock ignition up to the task?
i don't have any intentions of going with cam/heads but i wouldn't mind a little more bump, hence the 1.8s.
the only other mod i'm planning to tie it all together is 4.10s to make use of it all.

Depends on which ones you choose, the Cranes will fit under the valve covers without any modifications. You definitely will need new springs, "don't leave home without them".

No problem, but tuning will be a big benefit.

I have Jesel 1.8's in my 2000. Had to clear a bit in the valve covers for clearance. Definitely need heavy duty springs with Titanium keepers and hardened pushrods No need for bigger injectors. should Dyno Tune
also.

If you are just using the stock cam, you will probably make just as much additional power by sending me your 200 bucks.

You will probably spend double that for any aftermarket setup.

Save the rocker money and put a cam in the car. Just changing the rockers will probably give you more of a headache than power.

But, your money... your time.
