Banging Noise during Acceleration
A couple days ago my car has had this awful noise coming from the engine compartment. It sounds like a fan is hitting something while spinning (although I don’t think that’s what it is). It happens during any kind of acceleration at first...then once I let off and try the same acceleration it wont do it or it will be a lot quieter. Could this be a belt slipping or any kind of belt issue? I don’t think it’s an internal engine issue because it doesn't happen during every acceleration...and the engine runs fine and doesn't feel like it has reduced power. Any ideas what’s wrong??
