ls2 iron block internals???
Im looking to get internals to support 1000hp plus. What internal kits does anyone know of that is good and is a good price. I know of callies and thats all.

LS2 is an Aluminum block. As far as internals....callies will support 1000hp im sure. Rods, man you have choices for days on that. Manley, eagle, callies, lunati, etc. Pistons....again top of the line stuff for a 1000 hp. JE, Ross, manley, diamond.
Off the topic.....1000 hp huh?? I have not seen a car on these boards make that much HP. Maybe I am blind......but that seems to be crazy high. Plus, if you need a 1000hp engine, maybe you should have it built. Then if that is the case, your engine builder should know exactly what it takes to support 1000hp.

You can get an iron LS2. Just because everything you see on the forum says AL doesn't mean the block can't be ordered as iron. The iron LS2 is a couple hundred bucks less expensive too.
