Headers and plug wires

Im going to be installing headers soon and was wondering what would be the best plug wires to use with headers? Thanks

St. Jude Donor '08-'09-'10-'11-'12-'13-'14-'15-'16

Sometimes the brand of headers and size (1 3/4" or 1 7/8") make a difference.
I'm using Magnecore KV85 wires with 45 degree plug boots on my Kooks 1 3/4" headers. Plenty enough clearance for me. HTH

Take the factory heat shields and spin the spring out of them. Then the shields will slide right over the MSD 8.5's and bend the wires to the angle you want

I am running Taylor Thundervolts 10.4 with cool socks, and just went to NGK TR6s. No issues.

Will the angled plug boots work better than the straight boots?

They are billed as being for header cars and do work fine, but actually I think that at least in my application (with 1 3/4" diameter header tubes), the Magnecore straight plug boots would have would have been fine too.
I have used their straight boot versions in the past (without headers) and was also able to re-use the factory metal heat shields and springs with them too. HTH
