Default Best head cam packages

A few questions here on heads cam etc. Much appreciated if someone can help.

1. What are the details of the Fast 90/90 intakes?

2. Which cam is usually recommended that does not change response from 1000-2000 rpm at all, but provides the best power gains?. In other words, best gain above 2000 rpm, but no compromise bertween 1000-2000 rpm, (if such a beast exists). I have 205 AFR heads and Kooks exhaust/headers already to go. I also plan to have the throttle body polished and the screen from the air flow sensor removed.

3. Apart from the above mods., what other relatively easy mods are there for more horsepower/torque without changing response from 1000-2000 rpm, excluding forced induction and nitrous.

4. I spotted a BBK inlet manifold where 15-20 hp gains are quoted, but someone from a preformance shop told me they had one fitted and the car ran rough between 1000-2000 rpm. Anyone have any experience with this or other aftermarket inlet manifolds??

Thanks heaps for any advice.

Thanks heaps.

Since you're in australia, My advice would be to make sure that there is somebody local that can tune your car.

I wouldnt get the FAST 90/90 setup unless you were going with forged internals on a stroker and were looking for over 500rwhp. an LS6 intake, and a G5-X3 cam kit will be about perfect. Now, If you already have Comp Cams 921 springs on your AFR heads then you can save a bit of money on the G5-X3 cam kit.

Forget about the BBK throttlebody. You should see around 450rwhp with this setup. Youve definately got some of the best heads out there.

Cartek sells a cam with that duration; 224 intake 228 exhaust ground on a 113 LSA (Lobe Separation Angle) and .590 lift.

Thanks
The heads are AFR 205 (air flow research brand), milled .020 LT means long tube.
cam is shown is the exact specs from AFR. (air flow research brand), auto specialties performance (ASP) underdrive pulley;Intake manifold is off a Z06.

Cam is very docile when cruising and has stock like idle. but after you crack this biznitch open, hold on! Hope this helps!

Well as you can see by my sig I havent broken into the 11's yet but thats totally my fault, the car could do it easily. If I just hammer it 1st thru 3rd are tire spinners unless the DR's are nice and hot. Even hot I could still easily spin all the way thru 1st and 2nd.

I love the gears though, bang for the buck theres nothing better.
