I am in the market for an exhaust. In the future I am planning a mild cam and heads. I am in CA, so I think headers are out.
With that said:
1) Will I hurt my motor by doing h/c on stock manifolds?
2) I wanted the GHL Bullets for the musclecar tone, but will they be too loud with the h/c? Or, do exaust systems get loud simply from the headers most people put on? I don not want obnoxious loud, either.
3) If it will get loud, provided, of course, I can do an h/c without headers, am I better off getting Corsa Tourings now?
B&B shorties have a CARB number and are 50 state legal. The only downfall is that they do not provide the same gains as long tubes.
My vert dynoed in with a 13 hp gain with the B&B shorties. My mods at the time was a Blackwing, LS6 intake, and B&B PRT's.

Oh, I didn't know that. Did the shorties make your car that much louder, lie LTs would? I really need to think this through, 'cause I only want to get an exhaust once, you know what I mean?
