Need some advice on suspension upgrades

Looking to upgrading the Z51 suspension under the following constraints.
1. Due to my driveway, I cannot lower the C5.
2. I still drive to the track so I think that a no compromises race setup is out of the question.
3. Looking at moving up to a C6 Z06 in a year or two so I should do something that can be removed and sold.
What would you do? Coil overs? T1 Sway bars? or Just upgrade the shocks?
Thanks
Grind the top off your driveway and lower the car.

And, spend some money on your brakes. They're your biggest bang for the buck on the track.

OK
What should I do to the brakes? Better pads? or?

Since you already have the Z51 package, why don't you get a Z06 rear spring and Hotchkin Sway bars, Bilstien sport shocks and poly bushing kit from Vette Brakes. This way when you sell the car you won't have any problems selling it as is. Total cost of parts should be around $1,500 bucks. Install of poly bushings is time consuming but worth while.

Good advice.....however, I am worried that I could high-center the car if I lowered it....
Time to check out the Vette Brakes Web page

( maybe #1000 front spring #800-850 rear spring
)I wouldn't do coilovers, not worth the trouble for the gain. Just as many National Level Solo II racers and roadracers have springs as do coil overs. stay with the original design, C5 is easy to work on and you can swap springs, bars and stuff pretty quickly after a few times doing it.
keep stock rotors and geta set of Hawk HPS pads. A little squeaky and dusty, but stop great, also NAPA stock rotors are $25 a pop, so you can always have a set on standby. BTW, lowered on stock bolts is only about 3/4-1 inch, just go slow at an angle
