Just wanted some feedback before I purchase a set. I was thinking about running a set Mikey Thompson ET Street 275 40 17 on a set of front Z06 rims. Or is it better to run them on a 18 in rim. I know you gain width but you loose side wall. And you only have a few choices when you go to the 18in rims. Thanks in advance.
I have gotten my best 60' on the MT ET Street radials........275/40/17 on an OEM mag wheel 17 x 8.5.
1.49 60' at............24 psi hot on my 97'. Ran no worse than a 1.57 on my 1st pass.
