Default Unsure about Jet Module

I am very new here and only have limited experience with vettes. I've had an '04 comm. ed. 6 spd for about a year. My current mods are corsa indys/x-pipe, 180 thermostat, TB bypass, and skip shift eliminator. I'm pretty low key so the only other mods I was planning are a volant twin cone cold air kit, cutting out fog lamp covers/installing z06 style screens, and a stage 2 jet fuel control module. My problem is, I can't find hardly any information on people's experiences with volant intakes and the jet fuel control modules for the C5. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've never heard of the Jet Control Module here on the forum. It appears to be a "canned" tune for the PCM. I would spend a little more and get a custom tune for you specific car. My 2 cents.

You probably won't find too many opinions on this board regarding the Jet product as I don't believe there are many here using it. From a simple plug-n-play perspective, you have several options including one of the many handheld tuners available: Diablo, Hypertech, Superchips, etc. These units will offer some advantages over the Jet module as they allow you to select and modify several different operating parameters (e.g. Tire size, gear ratio, octane rating, (timing), etc.). Note, to my knowledge you can not modify any parameters with the Jet module.

For best results, a custom tune is really needed. However, for a mostly stock car, the stock PCM does a fairly good job.

I don't think you will find very many fans of the plug and play modules for the m-6... a4 maybe a few advantages, none on power....
