Has anyone ever had a clicking noise coming from their clutch pedal? On my 2000 coupe, there is an annoying clicking noise every time I depress and release the clutch. I am told that there is a spring inside the pedal that facilitates the hydraulics or something along those lines. It sounds as if this spring is coiling up on itself and then making the clicking when it is released. I know it probably doesn't have any effect on the functionality of the clutch itself, but man is it annoying! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar....
I posted the exact question last week and got zero responses. At least I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. Without actually tearing things apart, I can only guess that the clutch springs are causing this irritant. When I take my car in for a horn switch replacement, I will question them about this.

Mine's going in Thursday to get this looked at. I will keep you posted on what is up...
