Default Header bolts

Gathering up everything to install my new vette doctors headers. What would be the best to use
breslin header bolts?
stage 8 locking header bolts?
arp studs?
Any opinions, Thanks guys

You're gonna love the Drs. headers........Just had mine done by the Amityville surgeons and did a 1000 mile + trip to meet the makers ! Why not give Dennis (Carmen wouldn't know) a call on his bolt suggestion? Hi Carmen

And aside from ease of install, what is the advantage of ARP studs, if any? Any special install methods or just screw studs in until they bottom out, bolt on nuts and torque em down?

You can count on them not to streach and can be reused if necessay. Much easier to use when it comes to getting them started. IMHO

Thats what im looking for, something to lessen the chance of cross threading bolts or broken bolts. Theirs been a lot of posts here lately about cross threading and breaking the bolts off.

Stock has been fine for me...............
I find on C5s the install works best when:
Leave the headers loose, do not bolt up the collector tabs if you have them. Most instructions say this anyway.......
Install the rear most bolt loosly 1st and go from there.
Every header tolerance will be a little different, use neversieze and torque on.
I have snapped one off while putting in a new header gasket.......forgot to loosen the collector tab and horsed it in until........SNAPP

I've got the Breslin bolts on my Avalanche and they are great. I heat cycled them for a couple of weeks, retorqed them, and have not touched them since. It's been about 3-1/2 years since the install.
