Mine was a tight fit (not halltec) but i was able to twist and pull up at the same time and it slide on. Can you use a screwdriver to shoe horn it on? Be careful not to puncture the hose or your self doing that method. Or perhaps use a little WD 40 to help it slip on?

I got most of mine assembled and tried to put it on the TB. Had to take it off the air bridge, put it in hot water to make it more pliable and it went right on. Then I assembled the rest.
