PCM Codes 0200 and 0300

My brother's '99 started acting up tonight and is idling very roughly. I cleared out his codes, but the 0200 and 0300 PCM codes came back which made his check engine light come on. I know the 0300 is an engine misfire detection code (I am sure the 0200 is similar but I couldn't find it on the list). This all started soon after he filled up with gas. Could bad gas cause this? If not, does anyone have any idea where to start looking for a problem? It runs a bit smoother at higher RPM's and is most rough at idle.

probably not the case for you but had a misfire code last week and it ended up being a broken valve spring.

Are you using an oil treated air filter like a K&N?? Rough idle but fine at cruising rpm sounds like a dirty maf to me.
