Default Speed sensor location, Automatic?

Just got done with the Converter install. And the speedo doesnt work. Thus not allowing the stall to lock up. Which plugs would make the speedo not work? For any reason, would my console wires need to be hooked up, like the gas door, TCS, and inconsole cigerette plug? Those are the only ones I "thought" I still had unplugged. But I guess I missed one, or I didnt plug it all the way in.

Short version, What plugs, not being plugged in, would stop the Speedometer from working?? Does it have it own ground near the plug, or is apart of the wiring harness??

Thanks.

Check the VSS connector (vehicle speed sensor) located on the right side, top of trans/diff

By right side, you mean passenger correct?

I havent gotten back under the car since I found the problem, So I havent even looked for something obvious. Its been a long 3 days, finishing up alot of car projects, on a couple cars. I needed tonight off.

Thanks.

VSS on M6 and A4 should be the same location. Right side is the passenger side.
