I was reading the thread but didn 't see this situation, I took the 98 auto in for the recall ,the seat belt recall and an oil change.
I never had a problem with the column but figured what the heck, let's get it taken care of, however no good deed goes unpunished.
Today it shuts off on me briefly, twice ;and the service column lock dreaded display lights up. What could have happened at the dealer?
I know I have to take it back (major pain) but what could they have done or could the battery be low and this is just coincidental?
