Engine oil leak
Hello
I'm from Slovenia-Europe so please excuse me for my not so good english.
I'm smelling oil inside my 97 vette, from ventilation. I looked underneth the car and I spoted that the oil is leaking on the back side of the engine, but from the top of the engine somewhere. I also think that my oil presure sender unit is faulty, becouse reading on the gauge is 80. Is it possible that oil is leaking from oil presure sender unit?
Is someone had this kind of problem with oil leaking?
I also have service engine soon light oo, but scanner didn't show any error codes?
How could I reset this light with no error codes on?
Vette has 158k miles.

First do some searchs on this forum for oil pressure sending unit. There is a great guide for changing in out. If you are handy with tools it is not that hard a job. Takes couple of hours. While you have the intake manifold off look for your oil leak, could be the oil pressure sending unit, but I have not heard of that being a problem on the vette.
Read the posts at the top of the forum page, called stickies. In there you can learn a lot about your vette and how to reset the check engine soon light. But you will need to find what cause the light in the first place.
