Tire sensor nut torque?

Is there a torque specification for the nut that attaches the tire pressure sensor to the wheel? Or, is it just a snug fit?

Per my 02 service manual, for domestic cars, the torque is 35 lb-in.

For my 1998 it is 106 in-lbs

According to my 02 service manual, the export version gets tightened to 106 lb-in. This may be year dependent or more specifically sensor type dependent.

It could be sensor type dependent, note 1997-2000 is Gen I sensors, 2001-2004 is GEN II sensors. GEN I have an o-ring seal and GEN II have a rubber gasket (like a washer). The rubber gasket probably does not take as much torque to seal. With GEN I you are probably bottoming out against the metal and providing a groove for the o-ring compression.
