Shifting into second
i've read in plenty f places that in the corvette you really have to push into gear. I've only had mine for 3 months now, still getting everything down, and i just put a hurst shifter into it. To shift into second though sometimes can be a hassle, it doesnt seem to want to go into gear easily. I've had people drive my car that have driven plenty of vette's and they say it is not the same as when they have driven other C5's. Anyone got any suggestions? I am still confinced that it is the fault of the driver, not the car if it doesn;t go into gear, because I don't have many significant problems with it

If you haven't already done so, I suggest the next thing you do is install some synthetic automatic transmission fluid (ATF). Mobli 1, Amsoil, Royal Purple will work. If that doesn't make a significant improvement, some shifter adjustmant may be in order.
