Default 243 Casting Heads LS2 Vs LS6??

Whats the difference other than the valves if any? Do the valves help in any major way? Im looking to get a set and have noticed the "LS2" ones go much cheaper than the LS6 ones. Flow numbers different? Power? Please someone help before i pull the trigger thanks in advance.

R.

Valves are around 20 grams lighter (or thereabouts), so they help control upper RPM.

Are the LS2 ones lighter or the LS6 ones lighter?

LS6 has lighter valves. I've seen the lighter hollow valves break in higher hp cars with a cam and stronger dual valve springs. Its rare, but it has happened...

Different length valves. The LS6 valves are longer to compensate for the smaller base circle of a LS6 camshaft. Using LS6 heads on a cam with an LS1 sized base circle requires different length pushrods. Pushrod length should always be checked anyway when modifying valvetrain/heads.
