Clearing DIC codes

Clearing DIC codes

I have about 12 history codes popping up. If I clear them will they no longer pop up if there is a problem?

Youre OK. If they show up again it will show C for current and probably as a History code to.

You can go ahead and clear them...

If the same problem occurs again, they WILL indeed reappear...

I think that's what you were asking correct?

Or if you are so inclined, you can just ignore them.

They'll disappear on their own after....40...ignition key cycles (w/o a repeat of the problem.)
