Halltech filter pre-oiled?

Halltech filter pre-oiled?

Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if the halltech "warhead" filter that comes with the "stinger" system comes pre-oiled. I just installed it and figured I'd ask just in case.

Kind of disappointed with the install, the filter literally just hangs over the radiator duct, it doesn't fasten to any grommets at all.... So on the racetrack it'll just flop around up there? Poor engineering in my opinion.

I had my Halltech stinger on 2 of my cars and have never had a flopping problem......but like you said it would be nice if they secured to a grommet. My filter came preoiled.

I would think since the airbridge is "pinned" down from the hood, it wouldn't flop around.

Not only is the airbridge "pinned", but the Warhead filter is so big that it can't go anywhere. No clamps are included or needed and yes, the filter is pre-oiled.
