Help with code please: p1518 Throttle Actuator Control.
Car died today. Code says it is a p1518 throttle actuator control. The reduced engine power message pops up on the drivers info. center. It will not rev up at all. Anyone know what this is? Any input is appreciated.

1518 means that the data between the tac unit and the pcm has stopped[nobody is talking to each other].have you suffered the leaking battery syndrome lately? if so,make sure the engine harness,tac and pcm aren't corroded.if all is ok,unplug the tac unit and make sure none of the connections are corroded[same for the pcm],if all is good,more than likely the tac unit took a dump.
