Clutch adjustment ?s
Well I just traded my 1966 stingray ragtop for a 81,000 mile Pewter 2002 C5 six speed coupe AND a 2002 Silver MBZ / AMG - E55.......
(God is that Benz fast)
Anyways the clutch on the C5 does not engage until the last 1/2 inch of pedal travel.............and I like the clutch to start to engage about 1/2" to 1" off of the carpet.
So what are the steps for this adjustment?

Aftermarket really your only option to allow adjustment of the clutch engagement point. I have heard of some replacing the clutch rod with an adjustable one but, I have no idea if they made the rod themselves or purchased individual parts and put it together.

This engaging at the top of the 3+ inches of travel is for the birds.
