Need Help with Engine Sucking air
if it's a noise, can't see it being a big deal
vacuum leak? ck the HVAC hose on the back of the manifold, replace the intake to head seals and t/b seal
are you near Orlando?
Get a piece of tubing about three feet long, 3/4 to an inch in diameter. Put one end up to your ear and move the other end around the engine untill you locate EXACTLY he noise originate. That will git you a better idea of what you are faced with andhow to go about fixing it. !

Condition
Some owners may comment on a whistle noise coming from either the intake manifold or the throttle body. The noise is most noticeable between 1100 and 2000 RPM.
Cause
This condition may be the result of airflow through the intake manifold.
Correction
Replace the intake manifold with the part listed below. Refer to the Intake Manifold Replacement procedure in the Engine Mechanical - 5.7L sub-section of the Service Manual (SI Document ID #642853).
