My local parts house(AutoZone) offered me some bogus explanations. Could someone with experience walk me through this one? I am what might be called an "advanced amateur" mechanic, meaning I have built a number of small blocks BUT......not up to standards with modern technology. Thanks in advance from a brand new member.
If the fuse is good, then it’s most likely a bad purge valve. If you remove the drivers side fuel rail cover and look in the area of the #3 injector you will see that the purge valve has an electrical connector that goes to the harness and one tube going to the front toward the throttle body and one tube going towards the back of the engine. Check the connections but barring an unlikely short or open the valve is must likely the culprit
I wish I could be sure of the fuse# but this should head you in the right direction

Just checked.....it is 19.

Thanks. I am on my way to my garage right this minute. This site rocks.
