Bassani catback?
Has anyone tried the bassani catback i found one brand new for 649.00. Its a quad tip system and it ive seen it list for 849.00. How does it sound compared to borla stinger. I was gonna go with the Borla dual stingers for around the same price but i really preffer to have the quad tips. The quad tip Borla is out of my mod spending budget. Also it says its made out of aluminized Steel how does that compare to stainless?

Aluminized steel will eventually rust, SS won't. That's the reason for the price difference. Most Bassani systems are SS, so I'd be careful it's not some off brand with Bassani tips. Not sure of that, so go to Bassani's website and see if they make a non-SS system for the Vette. In my experience, Bassani systems are quite a bit quieter than a Borla Stinger system, and kind of metallic sounding.
