racing head service.......there a part of comp cams. they were the first to build crate motors. they also did a lot of port work for the racing community. i think they bought out that some one, and built a new business making new line of heads. the ones for the LS motor are roller over to 11 degrees. should make a lot of difference whith big cams. no more fly cutting pistons. i guess the heads come in as cast or CNC ported. if comp cams has anything to do with it, i bet they will rock!
RHS has been around since the early 80's and is/was a division of Competition Cams. They were *HUGE* at one point, but as time progressed, the lion's share of the R&D and attention was directed toward the Comp Cams area of the biz and the RHS portion fizzled out, but never really died. Competition Cams has just recently devoted their time to wake that portion of the company up again in an effort to get back into the cylinder head market again. That's a real bonus, because they'll have the engineering prowess of Competition Cams behind them and probably will have some serious offerings when they get up to speed.
I personally used to use RHS heads, porting, etc, back in the 80's when I was racing my own stuff and their products/service were top-drawer! They were *THE* place to buy heads, buy crate engines or get heads ported back in the day... They are serious players.
I'll bet you'll be hearing more and more of them in the coming months as they gain business momentem.
Hope that helps.

I got them bare for alittle over $1,100.00 from a local dealer (Ron's Porting Service).Direct from RHS was $1,149.00 + shipping (I would geuss).RHS had 3 sets on hand (they are sending 1 set to Ron's for me) so you may not want to wait to long. That is why I went a head and orderd today before they was gone, that and the fact that I could get them bare so I didn't have to spend as much money at one time.
Finally got my heads picked up from Ron's Porting the other day. They really look good.I had Ron set them up with valves and double springs. You can get them complete from him for around $2,500.00 a set depending on what parts you go with. Can't wait to get them on.
