CLB and electrical outage
Guys,
If you have to disconnect your battery or if it goes dead, when you are connected again do you have to hook the column lock bypass (CLB) up with that cigarette lighter attachment again?

No, the only purpose of the cigarette lighter attachment is to make sure the lock plunger is seated all the way in the UNLOCKED position. You only need to do that one time when you are installing the CLB. Once you do that the plunger is unhooked and stays unhooked and can never move again. The CLB simply fakes the computer into thinking the lock plunger is moving.
