I found this lying loose on the inside of the front cowling, near the front right turn signal/ air vent area. Does anyone know what this is for and where exactly should it be mounted? This picture was taken through the gap between the hood and the front cowling with the hood open, but when I found it, it was lying below where I am holding it, on the lower inner surface of the cowling.
No, I don't think so. The hood light works and so do all the other lights. I'm guessing it's some kind of a temperature sensor (?) because it doesn't have any place for it to connect to anything else electrically, but rather just has that short, cylindrically shaped probe.....
It's the outside air temp sensor there is a clip and it sticks through the radiator shroud righ about there on the on your left it measures outsid air temps infront of the radiator
