Hey Guys,
I would like to either start doing most (if not all) my the repairs on my C5 (2001). What is the best repair/service manual? And where to buy? I check the corvette store. should i just go with the for sale there?
I've heard some say that the CD's that are on eBay are not full service manuals and they only touch the surface pretaining to information. Almost like just enough information to get someone stuck. (Kind of like a Haynes). Have you found that to be true?
If you do a search in the Parts section, there is a forum member selling them on CD-ROM for a lot less than $125....
Strange, I posted here once sometime back where you download them for free but the forum admins removed the post. Guess it is OK to sell copies though.
the only hard copy manuals you want are the three phone book sizes Official Helm's GM shop Manuals for the Y Body C5 in your year...
Do not buy any generic or covers more than one car manual... they are junk...
gculley@fredbeans,com is a great source for these or any C5 part...
you can email him with your Vin # and zip code and he Will return your email with a price and shipping cost...
